Messy Hands Early Learning Center

Messy Hands Early Learning Center is a licensed family child care serving the families in Port Coquitlam. At our daycare center we offer a nurturing educational program for infants to school aged children in a safe, healthy, and loving home learning environment.

Our main goal is to guide children in their learning about themselves and the world around them, helping them develop independence and gain positive self esteem. We want children to unlock their potential and to discover their special qualities, to feel good about themselves, and to grow up happy and healthy.

We also believe that children learn best through their experiences in a rich “hands-on” environment where they can progress at their own pace. We give each child love, respect, and individual attention throughout the day. We know how hard it is to leave your child in the care of another, but please rest assured that your child will be cherished and kept safe while you are away.

Messy Hands Child Care Program

Children of all ages will thrive in our inquiry and play-based learning environment! At our daycare center we celebrate children’s individuality  and follow their interests.

Messy Hands has s
eized on the opportunity to include French as part of the daily activities with the children, and will provide a foundation for French language development taught in French immersion schools. We are conveniently located between two French Immersion schools – Kilmer Elementary and Mary Hill Elementary.

Our child care center provides home-like environment with a lot of natural materials. We have an Art studio separate from the classroom where a vast variety of materials are available to the children at all times. The in-depth exploration of different art mediums and the long term projects give children the opportunity to learn new ways to express themselves, and become critical thinkers and problem solvers, qualities that are the foundation of better readiness for school.
